Magic caused the war. Magic is forbidden. Magic will save us. The Relic Guild is the award nominated first book in The Relic Guild trilogy.
It was said the Labyrinth had once been the great meeting place, a sprawling city at the heart of an endless maze where a million humans hosted the Houses of the Aelfir.
But when the Thaumaturgists, overlords of human and Aelfir alike, went to war, everything was ruined and the Labyrinth became an abandoned prison. The surviving humans were trapped behind boundary walls a hundred feet high, and all magic was forbidden.
And now the war is returning. The Relic Guild are all that stand against the end of the city. But they are old, scattered and weak, and the enemy is growing in strength...

THE RELIC GUILD
Epilogue
The world is dead. Gone. Peeled away, like dead skin. Underneath, lies the nothing: a void between worlds, the sole occupants of which are malevolent shadow beings called glowdarks.
Only a select number of individuals possess the ability to peel their way into new worlds; they are the rippers. And Em is one of them. He can sense the "rips" scattered throughout each dimension and use them to peel through to the next world. But as Em and his group of survivors peel through world after world, battling glowdarks, zombies, and even gods, they discover that their world is not the only one that has ended. Everywhere they go, worlds are dying off, one by one.
And it's up to them to find out why.
If "The Walking Dead" were a young adult fantasy with dimension-hopping and shadow monsters, it might look something like this. Communities will be formed. Alliances will be broken. The road to survival will be paved with blood and entrails.
And death lurks behind every rip.

John isn't the man he used to be either; physically and emotionally scarred following his last deployment in Afghanistan, John is returning to the only place he ever called home, back to the loft above the barn and to the pretty blonde girl that's been holding onto his dog tags for all these years.

Demon and Paladin: Book 1, Human
When Felix Chambers's Master, a retired paladin who goes by Rose, disappears under unclear circumstances, she leaves nothing but a vague note. Felix, a half-demon whose residence with Master Rose had been kept mostly secret, must rely on two recently made friends for help: a grouchy orphaned rogue, and a bubbly pink-haired eight year-old seeress. When they are taken in by an organization dedicated to slaying demons, more questions are raised than are answered. Who is the strange man with horns Felix was confronted by? Where was Master Rose? What was this vision more and more seers kept seeing, a vision that implied Felix decided the outcome of an entire war? This wasn't just any war, either. The strange man with horns leads an army of demons on one side, creatures from the lower world of Aksen. The humans and archons are on the other side, from the worlds of Neska and Endivask respectively. As if this weren't enough, being the decisive factor of a Massive war was just one of Felix's troubles. After binding his soul to a demon in an attempt to protect someone he loved, he became half-demon and obtained a dangerous, unstable alter-ego--Void. His volatile presence keeps the demon slayers at the organization nervous and on edge. It's only a matter of time before he kills someone--or worse--and Felix has no choice but to be brought to the attention of the law. It's only a matter of time before he's exposed to a world he's not ready for.

There's a tiny, innocent curiosity inside all of us that asks why we're here or what happens beyond the limits of what we know. What if I told you there were Organizations that went further above the CIA or the FBI's top secret departments- I'll even go as far as to say the entire set of private filers from every government around the world- that kept everything in place? Organizations with such power to make the CIA look like a toddler in its early stages and fool everyone else into believing they don't even exist; organizations that carried unimaginable control enlightened by greed or the best intentions as far as keeping the people safe went. It'd sound a tad crazy, wouldn't it? Then again, are you really sure you know about everything that happens around you? As far as the story concerns, there's only one thing you should keep in mind: When life tests you, enemies can end up being your best allies, as well as the people you think you know can end up being your worst enemies. Especially, when people whom you love get torn away from you. Sometimes it's worth jeopardizing your life for the ones you love...perhaps you can end up finding yourself along the way. Dig deeper into the life of people capable of doing anything to protect civilians with no limits to bound them to any rules whatsoever, into the life of people who own every single mob on planet Earth, and people who have only one mission: kill.

Enhanced and Broken
In school, we learned about the world before the End. People didn't have to think about whether or not they would live to tomorrow. There was time for fun, for entertainment. There were even things called amusement parks. Life during then seems like a fantasy to us, too ideal for the conditions now. People during the Golden Times had it easy. Now, it's no longer easy. Those people hadn't thought about the future generations, about how we would live. Those people hadn't thought about the future generations, about how we would live. It never occurred to them that resources on Earth would soon be reduced dramatically, or that the air would soon be so contaminated that if one breathed in it for too long, they'd die. Now, we have to clean up the messes that they left behind. Because they were so irresponsible, we have to pay the price. Can we really do this? Is it possible for us to fix the environment? Or will Earth soon recover on its own, only to find itself uninhabited? I don't know. Quite frankly, I don't think we can do this.

Night Rider
Dear Unsuspecting Reader, I'm sure you're wondering by now what this book is about, considering you had the courage to pick this book from the title alone. Whether or not you decide to read the entirety of this novel (or not as the case may be), it is none of my concern, business or problem. The only thing I care about is getting out of this hellhole alive. If that means I have to tell someone my story then so be it. I am the Night Rider. (Don't ask about the name, I didn't come up with it.) Many fear me. I don't know why. Maybe it's the fact that I have brutally killed thousands of people without so much as a hint of remorse, let alone regret. What can I say? I'm a people person. But you can't say I didn't have my reasons for doing so. Revenge is a good a reason as any. But if you think you're brave enough, be my guest. You can't say I didn't warn you.

London, 1888 The Sentinels, a mixture of warriors who protect the Gentry and human race, are struggling to keep everyone safe. Sluaghs, once mindless and ravenous beasts, have began to hunt in packs. The Underfae, now showing signs of organisation, of mild intelligence, have become all the more dangerous, abducting Humans and Gentry alike from London's streets: though it's always worse when they come back... There are no sparkling heroes in this story, or damsels in distress. For the first time, the villain might win.
OPHELIA
"I was a college student, who lived a normal - magic free - human life. I grew up with the notion that science could determine everything. The lapses in my memory; sure. The visions of people's death; maybe. Then more than one of my 'visions' started coming true.. " Sometimes science can't explain everything. Harper Collins soon finds herself in a situation straight out of fairy tales. From being saved by warriors, to travelling to other dimensions, Harper's life doesn't seem to be getting back to normal anytime soon and when there's evil lurking in the shadows, hell bent on destroying her and taking her powers for themselves. Anon [Spoonful of Madness #1]
~ "Let the mayhem begin." ~ It started ten days before her eighteenth birthday. The nightmares, the strange marks on the back of her hand, the boy with more secrets than his own name and a shadowy group that wants the girl dead. With under a fortnight to uncover the past that destroyed her family, Ashley Clarke sinks into a dark world of deception, murder and madness.
The Blue Moon Saga: Howl
In Briar Rose's world, there have always been two sides: humanity, and the beasts pretending to be human, the dogs who can never stifle their instinct to hunt. To kill. For longer than she had been alive, things were this way; her kind were revolted by the werewolves that dared to exist in a world where they shouldn't belong, and vice versa. The werewolves hated her weak, sniveling species that could hardly do anything for themselves and stole most of what they "owned". This was the actuality of life-- of everyone's lives-- Until it wasn't. Until steel barriers and silver superstitions were breached, by a few curious humans who found themselves in the world of the wolves. And even more unlikely: when forbidden feelings arise within the heart of a human for the wolves in boys' skins.
